i once read, in ray bradbury's fahrenheit 451, that "self-consciousness is the enemy of all creativity." this has been my life. this is where i will strive to change it.
i woke up and started our coffee. the screaming teapot was your alarm clock. you walked in while i was saturating the bitter caramel grounds with steaming water. you swept my tangled hair off of my warm neck, bent down and kissed the now exposed mole. you grabbed the cream and turned our black coffee into silk. “good morning, beautiful.” “good morning, handsome.” and that it was.
